Caitlin Eugene, Oregon Portrait Photographer

October 27, 2011

I love sunshine!
I belong somewhere that has sunshine all days of the year.
Mmmm someday......
Well I'll stop daydreaming so I can share with you some images of a lovely co-worker of mine and her mom! The day turned out perfect! We actually had been planning this since like June or July since she won a free photoshoot. Four months later, we finally found a day that worked for both of us. The day was beautiful and the sun was out :)
Caitlin and her mom have such a great relationship and they are so fun. It was easy for me to photograph them. I hope you enjoy the pictures!
This weekend I have multiple photoshoots so keep a look out for those photos to post on the blog!
Happy Thursday.

Kayla: Springfield High School 2012. Oregon Portrait Photographer

October 17, 2011

Have I said anything about how great it is to not be in school anymore.
I have time for things I actually like to do like photography, and time to read books I want to read, and time for naps! My favorite is being less stressed. When I was in school, I couldn't image not being in school, it was almost as though it was never ending! For those who feel this way, there is an end, and it is good! Unless you want to be a doctor or something... then you'll just have to wait a little longer :)
So since I've had more time to pursue my photography I've really tried to be able to shoot as much as possible! The rain makes it a little difficult, but luckily for me, Eugene has been having some sunny days which makes everything in life better.
Enough of me blabbing on and time for you to enjoy some photos of a sweet girl named Kayla.
She is a senior at Springfield High school and does choir, where she knows one of my senior reps. She got an awesome deal and I loved her photos.
Enjoy and Happy Monday!

Chris and Jessica: Oregon Wedding Photographer

October 14, 2011

Summer of 2011.
It was great, even though Oregon shorted us a month!
I graduated, I shot my first wedding, YL camp, had my 1 year wedding anniversary, and so on.
This summer I also had a great opportunity to help a fellow photographer shoot a couple weddings. It was such a great opportunity and I felt honored to be asked :)
Daniel Soule, with Daniel Soule Photography,  trusted me with being his second shooter (Eeeek)
Daniel, seriously thank you for this opportunity and helping me grow! I'm excited to be working with you in the future. You're great!

This wedding was at Bradley Vineyards with a beautiful couple, Chris and Jessica. Jessica and her family came all the way from the east coast to have the wedding in Oregon. Chris is originally from Oregon, but they now both live in the east coast. They originally met in South America in college, kept a long distance relationship, then finally were together when she moved to Portland. Their wedding was intimate and so sweet with some great blue grass music.
Enjoy!
Happy Friday!

Ordonez Family: Eugene, OR Portrait Photographer

October 12, 2011

I started working with Sonja at the Register Guard in 2007, unfortunately for the RG Sonja moved, but it was a good thing for her family :) Her and her husband, Rudy, are high school sweethearts and you can tell they still are. Her kids were great too and gave me no hassle.

We definitely miss her so when she contacted me for family portraits I was definitely excited! Not only to take photos, but to also see a wonderful, former co-worker.
They were a bit nervous at first, but seriously who isn't? They were fun and loosened up by the end.
Thanks for being to come to Springfield with your family, Sonja!

Just a little reminder that Christmas is 73 days away! What are you doing for Christmas cards?
Well you know who to contact :)
Enjoy, and happy Wednesday!

Scott: Thurston High School Senior- Eugene, OR Photographer

October 7, 2011

If you don't already know, I work part time at the Register Guard.
I've been there since I started college! 4 years ago!
Sheesh.
Well, I have great co-workers, I really do. Kim, who has been there since I started, contacted me about having me take her son's senior photos. This is her youngest son, Scott.
I of course was pleased! And the day of the photoshoot could not have been better. It was truly, as Tom said, the last day of summer :( Sad, but let's not focus on dreadful Fall. The sun was bright that day and it was even hot!
Scott was super laid back and it was a pretty easy photoshoot. He hopes to study computer science at the U of O next year. I hope you enjoy his photos.
Happy Friday!
